This is the best place for Fried shrimp in the Midwest with Troha's being a close second. Their food is always consistent and of good quality.

Bobs Shrimp is a staple in the area. There is no place that compares. No frills, no credit card fees (cash only). This is the BEST shrimp in Lake and Porter counties. Take the drive! You’ll be glad you did. 5 stars!!!

Grab your food and go. Not a dine in place but the shrimp is AWESOME!!! Ask for crackers if you want them. Cocktail sauce is really good too. CASH ONLY

If your in the area, it's a must stop no question!! It's a pick up and go spot, no seating, that's OK, could be a little more inviting in the waiting area, but overall good spot. Will return for sure.

The best fried shrimp ever. It's worth the drive, and the wait. The jumbo shrimp are good. I always buy the ex-large ones. The cheese & macaroni salad is delicious. Their mild sauce goes great with the shrimp. If you want a little spice, get the hot one and mix them up. I always get a pound of shrimp so I will have some now, and later.
